2024 | The Foundation of Nurse Leaders Academy

Destiny Green, RN, BSN, founded Nurse Leaders Academy in Milwaukee with a vision to combine high-quality clinical training with compassionate care education. The academy was created to prepare healthcare professionals with the skills, confidence, and professional standards needed to provide exceptional care in today’s healthcare environments.

2025 | Expanding Healthcare Training

During a challenging time for the healthcare system, Nurse Leaders Academy expanded CNA training and BLS certification courses to help meet the growing need for skilled healthcare professionals. These efforts supported the preparation of confident, well-trained caregivers ready to serve their communities.

2026 | Advancing Leadership in Healthcare Training

In 2026, Nurse Leaders Academy launched the Leadership Foundations curriculum, integrating professionalism, patient advocacy, and leadership development into healthcare training. This initiative prepares students to deliver quality care while developing the confidence and professionalism needed to advance in the healthcare field.

The Skills Lab Instructor & Evaluator Dorothy supports students through hands-on skills training and competency evaluations. This role ensures students develop the practical abilities, attention to detail, and confidence needed to perform essential CNA skills safely and effectively.
